Dunwoody is one of the most established suburbs in metro Atlanta — a city of roughly 50,000 with housing stock concentrated in the late 1960s through 1980s. That era is the sweet spot for refinishing: cultured-marble showers, drop-in garden tubs, original cast-iron and porcelain alcove tubs, and Formica or laminate countertops, almost all of which are still structurally sound but cosmetically dated.
